If I was president, the following are what I would try to do and achieve. These are my top three priority's, how I would execute it, and why.
The first thing I would try to do is unite the country. If the country is not united, how can anything get done? Also, an extremely divided country is not politically sound. Now, when I say united, I DO NOT mean literally every single person in the country agreeing. That is impossible. But I do mean the vast majority being together and agreeing to try to make this country better, and not stagnating, (as it has been) with little to no growth. After the first thing was accomplished, then I would move on to two interconnected issues that should remedied. I would try to crack down on corporations violation of human rights, making punishments more severe, and include the working conditions they use in other country's, even if they aren't based here. I would still put a severe fine with possibility of imprisonment on company's and owners. I would also place more limiting requirements on manufacturing processes, that would make the practices more environmentally helpful, and not damage the ecosystem. By doing this I would be aiding the nations' responsibility to protect the environment, which most country's seem to be lacking in. Also connected with the human rights aspects, I would grow the branch that hunts down human traffickers and saves trafficked humans in the US, trying to eradicate trafficking in the US entirely. With all three of these things I would increase the political pressure on allying country's to do similar things and take similar action. The final thing I would try to accomplish would be to get rid of all the debt our country is in. I don't know how I would achieve this, but I think it is very important for people to stay out of debt, and by extension, the government. The reason why I say this is because if you are in debt, the debtors have a certain level of control over you, and our government should not have that, be it to corporations, or other country's. These have been three things I would prioritize as US president. Thank you for reading.

This blog is about my winter break. It was an enjoyable time, filled with family, good food, and presents. The first thing you may be asking is what I got as these "presents". Some board games, puzzles, and books. And candy. A LOT of candy. Anytime I make a resolution to consume less of the addictive substance, I am awash in it again. But enough about that. I traveled, A LOT. The drive time overall that happened my Christmas weekend bordered on four to five hours. Personally, I think that is too much. But, I met up with family I rarely see in all of the various locations, so it was worth it.
I also played a lot of video games, especielly since the new expansion for Destiny, The Dawning was released. I read a lot, mostly Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, books I would recommend to anybody. Finally I slept, becuase what is a break without rest? How was your winter break?
